NEW_utilities contains the mdisk kit, which allows you to format/make a Mirage boot disk among other things.
OLD_utilities contains the older (and quite flakey) mwrite and mread mirage disk utilities.
A free sample archive of 10 disks, which contains some modified original disks is in the MetaScape dir. These were provided free of charge originally. Their documentation PDF is contained therein.
OS_images contains a MASOS 2.0 and OS 3.2 disk image. MASOS is required to use Alchemy, which will run under Mac OS 7.5 through 9.2. Alchemy allowed you to pull/push samples from/to the mirage (and others) for editing and loop generation etc. It works through SDS via MIDI. The PDF manual and Quick Refs are originally from MetaSounds.

Tack a 10k resistor to these, and feed the odd 4 to a left and the even 4 to a right connector, and you have a quieter stereo output.
